From clean energy to carbon capture, we delved into some of the Budget announcements that are relevant to supporting our mission here at 3Ci: to enable private investment into local Net Zero across the UK. 

At 3Ci, we hope to see positive outcomes from the discussions around mobilising private finance towards net zero ambitions at COP29, but we also understand the key challenges facing climate investment strategies. We’ve shared our insights as well as the work we’re undertaking to overcome the obstacles. 

London Councils have released a report 12 months on from launching the London Councils Climate Programme, which aimed to scale up delivery and ensure London’s collaboration on net zero. The findings show that this core investment has unlocked over £1.6 million co-investment and external funding into climate action.
